共通言語が少なくなっている時代。細分化した社会で人はどう生きていくのか。

We live in an era where there are fewer common languages. How do people live in a fragmented society?

The 2018 Buzzword Awards have been announced. Chico-chan will appear at the buzzword award! Former NHK announcer: ``It's refreshing to see the use of rough words.'' Machi Tawara's words, ``Every year, it's getting harder to choose the greatest common denominator of buzzwords,'' are what I always think about. It felt like a good fit. It has been hoped that the spread of the Internet will increase opportunities to obtain information and create a society where everyone is widely connected. However, in the current situation, many small bubble-like groups have been created, creating a fragmented society in which people communicate in a language that is understood by their peers. This is because it has become easier to meet people with similar hobbies and tastes on the web and social media, and it has become possible to easily reproduce content, so there is no need to go outside of your favorite genre. That's what I think. It is a natural human desire to want to be comfortable. As a result, TV programs that were considered ``national programs'' and million-selling CDs that everyone in my generation bought have almost disappeared. We are living in an era where there is no common language among generations, even when looking at buzzword awards, words we don't know come up, and we are living in an era where it is difficult to win over many people's opinions. Both individuals and companies need to objectively understand this situation. Lately, I've personally felt that I've been getting fewer opportunities to learn new things and meet new people. If you jump into a comfortable bubble, you may be able to see a wider world, but you may find yourself unable to take on the challenge or end up putting it off until later. While writing my Year Compass the other day, I wasn't able to write down ``What I learned in 2018'', so next year I will consciously create opportunities to learn more. Although it is segmented, the door is not closed; in fact, there is an environment in place where you can learn as soon as you feel like it. IT is also a terrible tool that if you don't actively use it, your time will end up being eaten up. For now, I will work on a routine to live my own time and study with motivation and interest.
